WCHS Athletic Highlights


Football
 The Football team defeated Kern ValleyHigh School on Friday, October 10th with a score of 34-7. They ended their season with an overall record of 4-6.

Girl's' Tennis
Started the second round of league play with a 10-8 win over Maranatha and a 13-5 win over Valley Christian. They ended their season at 4-8 in league and 7-12 overall.

Girls' Volleyball
The girls Volleyball team captured the Alpha League Championship and are now in CIF Playoffs. With wins over Summit, Woodcrest Christian, St. Margaret's, and Viewpoint, the Heralds have advanced to the Finals of CIF playoffs. They will face Calvary Chapel Murietta on Friday, November 21st, at 7:00 pm at Cypress College.

Our sports programs in particular provide a concrete opportunity for students to apply Biblical principles on a daily basis. As a result, athletics play a very important role in high school. Character development is a process of learning and doing, and athletic competition incorporates both simultaneously.

Whittier Christian High School offers 17 CIF-Sanctioned sport programs including: Volleyball, Soccer, Basketball, Track & Field, Football, Tennis, Baseball, Softball, Golf, Cross Country, Wrestling, Cheer, and Song.
