We have culminated our celebration of Whittier Christian’s first 50 years. On May 1, we hosted a Gala Dinner at the Diamond Club in Anaheim Stadium. Nearly 300 guests joined to express pride in our past, praise for our present, and a prayer for our future. The next day we hosted “Come Back to High School” on campus, and the response from alumni was amazing. We had WC grads, former and current faculty and staff, former and current parents and families, plus current students on campus that day, and we are estimating over 2000 people participated in that day. It was a wonderful time, and so many people have expressed an interest, we are considering how to weave alumni events like this into the school calendar more often than every 50 years!
