First Place Winners!

t’s Springtime – and that means one thing:  it’s indoor drumline and pit competition season!   With a reinvigorated drumline and pit, the Herald percussion ensemble competed in their first show competitions of the year.  This season’s show, entitled “RGB”, highlights the colors found in music: Red (passion, war, romance), Green (nature, peace, prosperity), and Blue (cool, jazz, laid-back). 

At only their second show, the Heralds took FIRST PLACE competing against much larger schools and were promoted to the next division ranking!!

In a competition where a tenth of a point can make a big difference, WCHS dominated, winning by over five points!
