Spiritual Emphasis Week

At the beginning of the semester we had our second Spiritual Emphasis Week of the year. The focus of the week was on the problem of apathy in our lives. We challenged the students to examine their apathy in several areas: First, we examined our relationship with God. Second, we were challenged to view the entirety of life as worship to God. Third, we were challenged to think of other people. Lastly, we were encouraged to be part of God’s grand symphony. Our lives all play music but the question is if we are playing in time and tune with God’s grand symphony. WCHS students were encouraged to move from being apathetic to being passionate about their faith.
