Rotary Club Award Winners

Two of Whittier Christian’s finest seniors were honored by the La Habra Rotary Club on March 19, 2009. Whitley Brown and Daniel Genberg were both selected as the March Student of the Month and along with their parents they attended a luncheon at the Hacienda Country Club Golf Club in La Habra Heights, CA.. Whitley was recognized for her participation and leadership on the Lady Heralds’ Varsity Basketball team; Daniel has participated in three sports during his high school career: football, soccer, and baseball. Both students have served as Varsity captains this year. Whitley and Daniel were introduced by Mr. Carl Martinez and received certificates and gifts from the Rotary Club. Also being honored were student athletes from Sonora and La Habra High School.
