3rd Annual Senior Camping Retreat

The 3rd Annual Senior Camping Retreat was a huge success!  70 seniors attended this year's retreat September 24-26 which began with attending the WCHS football game at St. Margaret's on Friday night.  After the football win, we all headed to San Onofre State Beach to spend not one, but two nights camping!  Activities on the retreat included games, surfing, swimming, worship and lots of eating! 

This was a great opportunity for the seniors to begin to learn about who they are and the person they would like to become.  Many memories were made and relationships formed and/or strengthened.  One particular group of students was found beginning an affirmation circle where each person was given words of affirmation from all others in the circle.  This was just one example of how Christ's love was shown on this retreat.  There will be many more senior events this year and the making of more memories!
