Student life at Whittier Christian High School is vibrant, intentional and deeply rooted in relationship. It is where character is formed, friendships are forged and young people learn what it means to be part of a Christ-centered community. From the first day of freshman year in the Quad to the final moments of senior celebrations at the Senior Breakfast, Catalina Trip or Whittier Area Community Church, students are encouraged to engage, lead and grow.
Our school calendar is filled with activities that reflect both our joyful spirit and our missional heart. From spirit weeks and student rallies to retreats, class trips and service days, student life is dynamic and meaningful. Events are not just entertainment, they are opportunities to build a sense of belonging, express creativity and support one another in community.
Because of our school environment, every student is known and seen. They are invited into leadership roles, campus clubs, athletic teams, fine arts ensembles and chapel opportunities where they can explore their gifts and grow in confidence. Faculty and staff take time to walk with students, mentor them and help them navigate these formative years with wisdom and purpose.
Life at WCHS is about more than what happens in the classroom. It is about preparing students to thrive spiritually, socially and emotionally. We foster a campus culture marked by kindness, courage and Christ-like humility. Through shared experiences and personal discipleship, students leave WCHS equipped not only with knowledge, but with identity and direction they use to explore, discover and pursue their life calling.
